PEACH SMOOTHIE

August 4, 2018 by bettina No Comments
Peaches are another favorite fruit of mine. Like most orange fruit and vegetables, peaches are abundant in catenoid nutrients, the antioxidants that protect fatty areas of the body – e.g. the liver, skin and heart, including the brain, which is 60 percent. Peaches are rich in potassium, vitamin C and iron. If you haven’t I would recommend adding them into your diet. BANANA – PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE

July 25, 2018 by bettina No Comments
Bananas are one of my favorite fruits and I always have some at home. Even though they are undeniably high in sugar, we should not underestimate their health-giving anti-aging properties. Bananas also provide our bodies with potassium, vitamin C and vitamin B6, which are all important for heart health. The ingredients from bananas also help kidney functions and eliminate fluid retention. I love bananas with greek yoghurt or in a smoothie. On of my favorites is this Banana – Peanut Butter Smoothie, give it a try before your next workout.

Because açaí berries can spoil within a day the easiest way to get them outside their origin country is in powdered form. I personally just love the additional flavor and add 1/2 a tablespoon of it into my berry smoothies.
