Starbucks recently  started to sell their famous Pumpkin Spice Latte, which means fall is around the corner. Transitioning from hot summer days into cooler days and crisp nights might scream for getting sick. Now is a good time to take care of yourself, even more than usual. I love having fresh ginger shots every other day to boost my immune system naturally. Ginger is a flowering plant whose rhizome, ginger root or simply ginger, is widely used as a spice or a folk medicine.

Ingredients:

  • Ginger (as much as you like, but keep in mind, the more ginger you use the spicier and stronger it gets)
  • 2 – 4 fresh oranges (or orange juice)

Method:

  1. Juice all of the ginger in a juicer
  2. Add the fresh squeezed orange juice to it and combine well
  3. Enjoy right away
